The winner of the second BOC e-cash raffle draw, Mr Weerakoon received the prize from Mr. David Poynter, Relationship Manager, Bank of Ceylon (UK) Ltd. Mr. Weerakoon said that he was surprised to win the Raffle and it was a reward to a longstanding loyal customer of the bank.

The winner of the inaugural BOC e-cash raffle draw, Mr Saranga Bandara flew to Sri Lanka using the return air ticket he won from draw held for the month of August 2011. While receiving the ticket Mr. Bandara said that he just wanted to send money to Sri Lanka through a trusted and secured mode and winning a return air ticket was completely a surprise. He never thought he would receive such a reward for sending money through the bank. He further said that remitting monies should always be by legal means and the raffle draw is a good incentive for Sri Lankans living in UK.
